The Wooster Monumental Granite Works have been established here for the past seven years, during which time they have contributed in a marked degree to the adornment of the cemeteries of this city and those of the other parts of the state, in Italian and American marble and granite monuments and beautiful designs. The individual members if the firm are Forbes Alcock, James Donald and George Hutton, gentlemen whose practical experience and thorough knowledge of the business enables them to meet its requirements. They are importers of Scotch and Italian marble, and enjoy the most ample facilities for procuring American marble and granite, and are prepared to execute work from standard or original designs at lowest prices. Among the important monuments erected by them we notice the Almon Aylsworth monument, in Fairview Cemetery, costing about $900. This firm are also agents for reservoir vases, in which they are able to give lowest manufacturers' prices. [1]
