  8. -lar ordained Deacon in the Methodist
  9. Episcopal Church of the United States
  10. of America and that he officiates as such
  11. In this County. The court on motion
  12. License & authorize the said Jesse
  13. Prior to solemnize marriages between
  14. all persons legally applying to him
  15. therefore in this State so long as he
  16. continues such regular ordained
  17. Deacon in said Church.

  25. Be it remembered that at a Court of
  26. Common Pleas begun and held at the Cou
  27. rt house in the town of Canton within and for
  28. the State of Ohio on Monday, June 18th 1838 it app
  29. earing to the satisfaction of the Court that Emanuel
  30. Logue is a regularly ordained & constituted Teaching
  31. Elder of the church usually denominated the church
  32. of God. It is ordered that a License be granted to
  33. him authorizing him to solemnize marriages within
  34. this State so long as he shall continue such regular
  35. ordained Teaching Elder. Therefore by virtue of
  36. the order aforesaid the said Emanuel Logue is
  37. hereby authorized to solemnize marriages within
  38. this state according to the statute in such case
  39. made and provided.

  42. day of July 1838
