Comprehensive History

Shreve Presbyterian Church located at 343 North Market Street, Shreve was established in 1865. A building was erected in 1865. A building located on North Main Street was destroyed by fire in 1877. Another building was built later that year. Sources found for this church were Church Histories of Wayne County Ohio, Wipert p. 108, History of Wayne County, Ohio, 1910, Vol. 1, page 262 and 2013 Wooster/Wayne County Telephone Directory.
