"The buildings now occupied by the Porter Machine Co., have housed a machine shop for over 40 yrs. on E. Liberty St., Mr. Porter buying the business in 1912. He is an expert machinest, having been at this brand of business for 30 yrs. The Company manufactures clutches and pulleys, illustrations of which appear. The shop is equipped with every kind of machine for special work, and for all kinds of repairs on engines, machines and automobiles. Porter's is a "haven of last resort". If your work is too difficult for any other machinest or repair shop, take it to The Porter Machine Co. The also do a large business in castings and pattern working. [1]
