"By the Way. John Bykamos, one of the partners of the Palace Restaurant firm, has explained the secret of "Farmer" Burns endurance as a wrestler. Burns eats at the Palace.

Wednesday night the air was thick with challenges at the opera house matside. When everybody has seemingly challenged everybody else, Bykamos issues one of his own.

He challenged every strong man there to report immediately at the Palace "to wrestle with our beef-steak."
