The Lutz Bros. Pickling and Preserving Works, Creston, was built in 1894. In the Wooster Daily Republican, it mentions the Lutz Bros. pickling establishment of Allegheny, PA purchased 7 1/2 acres of land located "east of the Creston Land Co.'s property, between the B. & O. and Nypano railroads".
