Mr. {{Surname|Humphrey}}, who is a native of old Bucks County, Pa., where his early days were chiefly spent, was, during the late civil was a member of the 8th and subsequently of the 124th Regt. Ind. Vol. Inf., serving from 1861 to Sept. 1865, and receiving an honorable discharge.  He subsequently removed to this place, where he held for three years the position of constable.  He is now filling with credit his third term as Justice of the Peace.  He gives special attention to collections and to the drawing and acknowledging of all legal papers, mortgages, deeds, contracts, wills, etc. according to law.
