Manager {{Surname|Shavely}} stated Monday that there would probably be a great deal of trouble this year in securing shipments of sand, gravel and other materials of this nature. He added that the company examined local conditions and had samples of the sand from the Hixson bank analyzed and tested by the state highway department at Columbus, where it was accepted and given a high standing as material suitable for road construction work.
