**Wooster Planning Mill. - The above cut gives a fair description of the extensive works and lumber years, planing mill and factory of Messrs. D. C. Curry & Co., of this city. These gentlemen are thoroughly equipped to supply all kinds of building supplies, doing not only a large local trade, but manufacturing hard wood stairs and inside finishing, their work adorning many of the prominent buildings throughout the U.S. Among the late orders received by this firm were those for the hard wood stairs and inside finishing of a public building in Washington, D. C., and a large church in Brooklyn, N.Y. In addition Messrs. Curry & Co. are sole manufacturers of the Miller Force Feed Seeder, the latest improved hand seeder in the market for sowing broadcast all kinds of small grain, timothy, clover and grass seeds, as well as being extensively used in sowing land plaster, fertilizers, etc. The machine is durably made of best materials in all its parts, and weighs but five pounds. The shaft on which the force feed cylinder is fastened is made of cold rolled steel; the gearing of best cast iron. The slide regulating amount of the seed to be sown is under the side of box, where scale is plainly marked, and directions given the operator. It is driven in one direction by a crank wheel. It is a regular easy motion, and the amount of seed to be sown is under the entire control of the operator. A better and more thorough description of the Sower can be found in the catalogue issued by the firm.
