With an established trade of 10 years' standing, and one of the most full and complete stocks of groceries and provisions and general home and table supplies, this house is entitled to liberal notice. Mr. L.D. Craighead, the proprietor, is a practical business man and grocer of many years' experience, and enjoys the amplest facilities for securing his stock in the various departments of business direct from importers, manufacturers and producers. One horse and wagon is kept for the prompt delivery of goods to patrons, and the business policy which characterizes the operations of this house may be summed up in these words, "Good goods, courteous attention to patrons, and lowest cash prices. This house pays the highest ruling price for country produce. This business was formerly conducted under the firm name of Kuhn & Craighead, and was subsequently succeeded by E.S. Kuhn, individually, the present owner taking the entire control in March, 1887. It is perhaps the most extensive grocery house in Wooster and it has always maintained a high reputation. [1]
