- - One room school located one mile east of Lattasburg on Matty Road. Immediately adjoining this property is Red Swamp (Indian name). Many arrowheads have been found in the field adjoining Red Swamp. [1]
- 1919 - Closed
- 1946 - Sale of old schoolhouse - Stood on the northeast corner of the Emma Myers property which was sold to Paul and Lucille Bridenstine.[2]
- #3 School - Red Swamp School - Number Three School, a frame building was moved by James Ickes after closing in 1919 from one mile east of Lattasburg on Matty Road to his farm further east on the same road. Repurposed as a farm building.[3]
Milo Bridenstine's father, Paul attended Red Swamp School. The schoolhouse was moved one mile east and now stands on the Jim Miley property on Matty Road. [4]
