"The buildings on the City Hall lots were sold last Saturday by Samuel Lightcap, auctioneer. John Heil purchased the Babb building for $76, and John Fritzgerald secured the barn and outbuildings for $35. Samuel Ames secured the Logan house for $215, and Andrew Busch the barn for $9.50. A number of pumps and other articles were also sold. A portion of the Babb buildiung will be moved on the lot back of Geo. Schuch's saloon and used for a blacksmith shop."
