If you have never visited the museum on the second floor of the Wooster Public Library you've missed a lot. A visit to it is well-worth while. Mr. Alvin Rich, hardware dealer of Wooster is the curator and he's done a grand job of arranging the curios and various displays, dating back to the days when this county was just a youngster with only 300 citizens.

Dalton people might be interested in one display. According to the catalog, which describes all articles in the many cases, it has a prominent place in case No. 1. It is listed as being exhibit No. 312, viz: "A latch and brass door knob used in a house built by Mr. Yergin in Dalton in 1820. Yergin was Dalton's first mayor after its incorporation in 1856 and was donated to the museum by a direct descendants of the original builder."
