Shreve’s Example Good For Every Town
Shreve has started a public library association, such as every town of size, should have and especially Wooster. At the meeting to effect a permanent organization Prof. Rolland Woodward was chosen temporary chairman and W. S. Morgan secretary. A constitution and bylaws were adopted, and it will be known as the Shreve Library Association. The following officers were chosen; President, Rev. J.P. Hutchison; vice president, Chas. L. Grosjean, secretary, Emma Roth; treasurer, Wiley Miller; librarian, Chas Collier, at who office the books will be found. The meeting was then adjourned to meet Nov. 12 when it is hoped that all subscribers will be present, as it is very much desired to enlarge the library.
