Name Meaning & Origin[edit | edit source]

According to Mrs. W. V. Jeffries, from official records found, that over 300 years ago Correll ancestors were among the protestant Christians called Huguenots that were driven from France and Switzerland and took refuge in Germany and thence came to America, settling in Pennsylvania. Forsaking country rather than religion. For reference see newspaper clipping below.
