On 2 Sep 1836, Lot 48 in town & also lot next to it was deeded to Trustees Philip Sidle, Jacob Shilling, Mathew Seiler & Christian Fortney from Fred Bysell & Philip Groff, Wayne County Land Deeds, Vol. 15, pgs. 636 & 637.
