- Vanwert County SS } shall come
- { Seal } Whereas at the October Term of
- the Court of Common Pleas of said County of Van
- Wert the Reverend James McNabb produced
- to the Court credentials of his being a regular
- ordained minister of the Methodist Episcopal
- church. "It was ordered by the Court" "that a
- License issue to the said James McNabb
- authorizing him to Solemnize Marriages within
- the State of Ohio so long as he continues
- such regular ordained Minister" and he
- is hereby authorized to act accordingly
- In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set
- my hand and affixed my official seal
- as Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas pf
- said County of Vanwert the 9th day of
- October A.D. 1843

- The State of Ohio } At a term of the Court of
- Portage County SS } Common Pleas for said
- { Seal } County begun and held
- at the Court House in the Town of Ravenna
- on the twenty eighth day of February AD 1843
- the Rev David P Maryott of Franklin in said
- County presented to the Court satisfactory
- credentials of his being a regular ordained
- Minister of the gospel in the Baptist Church
- and moved the Court to grant him a License
- to solemnize Marriages. Whereupon it was
- ordered by the Court that such license
- be issued to the said applicant
- Now therefore know all men by these presents
- that the said David P. Maryott is hereby
- licensed in pursuance of the order aforesaid
- to Solemnize Marriages throughout the State
- of Ohio so long as he shall remain such
- Minister
- In testimony whereof I have herunto
- subscribe my name and affix the seal
- of said Court at Ravenna this second
- day of March Anno Domini one thousand

- Cuyahoga County SS } Rev Washington O'Conner of said
- { Seal } County, a regular Minister of the
- Gospel of the denomination usually called "The
- Disciple Church to Solemnize Marriages within
- said State of Ohio so long as he shall remain such
- regular Minister in pursuance of the order of
- the Court of Common Pleas of said County made
- at the November Term thereof AD 1838
- Attest my hand and the seal of said Court
- at Cleveland this third day of December AD 1838

- ty of Richland in the State of Ohio the following order
- was entered upon the Journal of said Court viz
- "On motion and it appearing to the satisfa
- ction of the Court that George W Shaffer is a regular
- ly ordained Minister of the gospel of the denomination
- usually called the " - Evangelical Lutheran Synod
- of Ohio" it is ordered that a License be granted
- him to solemnize marriages within this state so long
- as he shall continue such regular minister
- Minister of the Gospel" License is therefore hereby
- granted accordingly"

- of March in the year of our Lord one thousand
- eight hundred and thirty seven. On motion and
- it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court
- that Rufus Freeman jr is a regular ordained
- minister of the Gospel of the denominations
- usually called Baptists. It is ordered that a
- License be granted to the said Rufus Freeman jr
- authorizing him to solemnize marriages
- within said state so long as he shall continue
- such regular minister
- Now therefore Know ye that by virtue of
- the proceedings aforesaid and of the Statute
- in such case made and provided the
- said Rufus Freeman Jr is Licensed to sol
- emnize marriages as aforesaid
- In testimony whereof I have hereunto

- marriages within the State of Ohio so long as he

- County, satisfactory evidence was adduced
- to the Court that this Rev'd. John Lutz is a regul
- ar ordained deacon in the German Evangelical
- Association
- Now therefore License and permiss
- ion are hereby granted by said Court unto the
- said John Lutz to Solemnize Marriages within
- this State so long as he shall continue a
- regular Deacon in the church aforesaid in
- pursuance of the statute in such case made
- and provided
- In Testimony whereof I have hereun
- to set my hand and affixed the seal of
- said Court at Dayton this 27th day of
- August A.D. 1836
