Resolution to Establish Wooster Public Library and Museum as School District Library

To establish and maintain a Public Library, free to all the inhabitants of the Wooster City School District.

Resolved, by the Board of Education of the Wooster City School District that it is deemed advisable and hereby determined by the said Board of Education, to establish and maintain a public library, free to all the inhabitants of said school district.

That the said public library shall be organized and operated under an Act of the Legislature entitled "An Act Authorizing Boards of Education to provide library privileges for city, village and special school districts," passed October 17th 1902.

That said Board of Education, or a Board of Library Trustees that may be appointed by the said Board of Education, shall purchase a site for a library building, erect a suitable library building thereon, and maintain the same in manner as provided in the aforesaid act of the Legislature.

That the Board of Education, or the Board of Library Trustees, as the case may be, shall proceed with the work of purchasing said site, and the erection of said library building, as rapidly as it is able under the aforesaid Act.
