According to the Wayne County, Ohio Auditor's website, the home was built in 1861. It was a residential home until 2007, when Elisabeth Lorson sold the property to the Donald & Alice Noble Foundation, Inc. About 5 months later, the Foundation deeded the property to the Liberty Center Connections, Inc./Community Crossroads, Inc. From 2010 until present, the house has served as a Pathway House, providing housing for individuals receiving treatment and recovering from alcoholism.
