Despite the recent construction, the Das Dutch Kitchen is still open, says new owner Dennis Horst, {at right). Horst recently purchased April's Restaurant which now goes by Das Dutch Kitchen, located at 14278 E. Lincoln Way, Dalton. Horst says plans are now underway to expand the restaurant with an addition to add 230 seats, and a new kitchen which will be finished late fall. The restaurant will have a full size salad bar, new bakery, gift shop and outdoor patio. Loma Kauffman (center) is the service manager and Susan Yoder, kitchen manager.
