First Sign on Wooster Roof: Wooster Brush Co. Paints One Today to Direct Aviators to Local Field. The first roof sign in Wooster directing aviators to the Wooster aviation field was being painted today on the roof of the plant of The Wooster Brush Co.

The letters, 25 feet high, are being painted with aluminum paint, which is recommended by the government. An arrow will point the direction to the landing field.

The Wooster Brush Co., as noted elsewhere, offered to provide brushes for paitning roof signs in the first 100 towns to make application. This offer applies to Wooster and any town in Wayne county, as well as to anywhre in the state, Vice Preside Walter P. Foss stated today.

The company's decision to paint a sign on its own factory roof is in line with its policy of promoting this work in general.
