The Memorial Hall building once located on S. Buckeye street in [[Wooster, Ohio]] was built about 1853. It served a multitude of purposes in its lifetime, but most notable are its use first as an elementary school, then a meeting place for patriotic organizations. It was said that no other building in Wooster has heard the Pledge of Allegiance more often than the walls of Memorial Hall.
