- 1902 - McIntire Funeral Home was established when A. C. McIntire when he became associated with the Christine Brothers Furniture and Funeral Parlor which operated in the Excelsior building at 144 W. Liberty St., Wooster, Ohio.
- 1904 - John Danford came to Wooster and purchased an interest in the Christine Brothers Furniture and Funeral Parlor.
- 1914 - A. C. McIntire purchased a third interest in the Christine Brothers Furniture and Funeral Parlor.
- - After the Christine Brothers were longer connected with the funeral parlor it became known as Danford, McIntire and Nixon Funeral Home
- - A few years later, John Danford sold his interest and firm became McIntire and Nixon Funeral Home
- 1928 - A. C. McIntire became sole owner and became McIntire Funeral Home.
- 1929 - The residence of 216 E. Larwill St. was purchased from John Jameson, M.D. and converted into a modern funeral home.
- 1930 - January 30, the new funeral home opened.
- 1942 - W. W. Ted Mowrey, who operated a funeral home in Apple Creek since 1924 became associated with McIntire.
