It is interesting that Alexander McCoy owned property and paid chattel taxes in Clinton Twp, Wayne Co, OH. However, in the 1820 US census he is residing in Wooster Twp, Wayne Co, OH. Ten years later, his widow Martha is residing in Wooster Twp, Wayne Co, OH.
