Maysville Methodist Church was located on Lots 27 and 28. On 20 Jul 1850, Lots 27 and 28 in Maysville (SE corner Chestnut & Jackson Streets) were deeded to trustees Thomas Griffith, Henry Mowrey, William R. Graham, Meshc Hyatt, Dan Reeder Jr., Robert Scott & Peter Franks from John Mackey, Wayne County Land Deeds, Vol. 34, pg. 585.
