This project was started in 2001 and was completed in 2017. Since the start of the project, digital images of the Wayne County, Ohio marriages as well as other Ohio County marriages have become available through FamilySearch. Although they are searchable through FamilySearch, we thought it was worth the time to finish the project. Local individuals who were familiar with local names worked on this indexing project for many years. Many of the volunteers were from the Wayne County Genealogical Society as well as the Library Volunteer program with the Wayne County (OH) Public Library, Wooster.
