Donnelly & Company]], and at the death of the senior member of this firm in 1874, when after one year in the hands of the administrator the present firm assumed the control. This house occupies one of the most prominent locations in this city, where they enjoy ample space for the storage and display of a large stock of foreign and American dry goods, comprising besides staple fabrics, in the silk and felt department, plan black silks in all grades, fancy silks, brocades, velvets an plush goods, while the general ladies' dress goods department exhibits a complete line of staple and fancy cotton and mixed fabrics and suitings, the choicest selections from both American and foreign looms and latest seasonable novelties.
