John P. Greenwald was a photographer under the U.S. government during the Civil War in the Military Ditizion of the Mississippi. After returning from the war he had a photography business in [[Wooster, Ohio]]. Upon his death in 1871 his wife, Emma C. Greenwald tried to carry on a photography business by January of 1873 she was in business with Clippinger. 'professor' [[G. W.
