Adjudged Insane

Saturday afternoon Judge John C. McClarran upon evidence declared Emil Rotthaus, the West Liberty Street baker, insane, and ordered that he be committed to the State Hospital at Toledo. Sheriff McCoy took him there Sunday. There are hopes that Mr. Rotthaus will recover his faculties under treatment at that institution. For some time he has been partly out of his mind, and recently became vicious, even to threatning violence to his own family, and for that reason was placed in restraint.
