" This shoe store has only been in operation since May first of this year and in this short space of time has already established itself as a favorite. The proprietors are Si A. Amster, formerly with Nick Amster, and Harry E. Power, formerly with E. Paumier. Though the City Shoe Store is new, its owners are experienced. The store is located "On the Square" and is in the heart of Wooster.
Only the best lines combine style, service and comfort. A full line of "Bostonians" is carried for men, and the "La France" for women. These are the best shoes that money can buy. The store is particularly strong on shoes for youth, Misses and most important of all, the little ones. This illustration gives you an idea of this store's method of catering to your wants and comfort." [1]
