• 1975 - November 5, Rick Blackburn and Bill Francavilla went in partnership to start a restaurant business
• 1977 - Opened a franchise in Wadsworth, Ohio, but alter decided to not go in that direction
• 1979 - Bill Francavilla left to start a restaurant of his own Heroes and Chickens, then started Francavilla's Place, and then Po' Folks
