- 1964 - Established as "Tom and Jack's Lounge" by owners Tom Tieche and Jack Clampitt.[1]
- 1978 - Tom Tieche and his uncle Jack Clampitt sold the restaurant to Greg Tieche. Greg then concentrated on the menu connecting the food with martinis, then wines, vodkas and then craft beers.[2]
- 1982 - Greg Tieche added a second restaurant, C.W Burgersteins, in the basement serving the first chicken wings in Wooster, Ohio.[3]
- 2001 - Greg Tieche addded a third restaurant, Melvin's Brick Oven, after seeing restaurants in Columbus known for their wood burning stoves.[4]
