L. {{Surname|Keiffer}} and John {{Surname|Brenizor}} were the first four who engaged, as it then was looked upon, in this degenerating enterprise. It was thought that sloth, indolence and corruption promoted them to resort to this perversion of principle. Suspicion marked them as aspirants at degeneracy of the lowest grade.
