This document is a notice for the 42nd Annual Reunion of the Eighth Ohio Volunteer Infantry, which served in the Spanish-American War. The reunion was scheduled for September 1st and 2nd of 1940 in Canton, Ohio. Dear Comrade: <br>
This Bulletin is to advise you that all arrangements have been made for the entertainment and comfort of our Comrades and their families of the good old Eighth. <br>
In tribute to our late Commander-in-Chief, every member should endeavor to attend this Reunion and pay homage at the Shrine of our departed and beloved Commander. <br>
Like the Scotchmen-- who gave his girl a watch case for Christmas, and then the next Christmas gave her the works. We cannot give you all the good things we have planned for you at this Reunion at one time, so will just give you the synopsis now and the rest when you attend the Reunion.

Sunday Sept. 1st

Morning 10:00 A. M. Registration <br>
:: 12:00 Noon. Each company that desires to, can arrange for their own little Reunion and dinner, our committee will be at your service. <br>
:: 3:30 P. M. Memorial Services at {{Surname|McKinley}} Monument.

::7:30 P. M. CAMP FIRE. For this event you are going to be a Millionaire for one night. When you register you will receive $1,000,000 to spend at the [illegible].

splendid and enjoyable evening has been arranged for them at the Courtland Hotel.

Monday Sept. 2nd.

Morning 7:00 A. M. Reveille. At 7:30 leave Headquarters for a good Country style breakfast, followed by a Sight-seeing trip. <br>

Courtland Hotel will be headquarters for the Reunion. Special room rates have been secured from $1.50 up. Please fill in the enclosed postal card and send it back AT ONCE so that proper reservations can be made.

The Canton groups, consisting of Companies F.I.L., the hospital and Signal Corps are working unitedly to make it worth your while to attend this Reunion. Because of your devotion to our dear old Regiment, because of your regard for your Comrades, because of the inspiration and wealth of memories that come from these annual gatherings, let us unite again a service consecrated to the Government we served in the time of war and salute the colors to which we rallied, responsive to the call of President {{Surname|McKinley}}.
