• 1950 - Forrest Ritzman founded a small 1,300-square-foot pharmacy in Wadsworth, Ohio
• 1950-1984 - Five of Forrest's sons followed in their father's footsteps and became pharmacists, opening their own community pharmacies in the area
• 1985 - All of the Ritzman family pharmacies were combined pharmacies in the area
• 1999 - Ritzman Pharmacy family pharmacies were combined to form Ritzman Health and Personal Care Stores, Inc.
• 2011 - Ritzman partnered with Buehler Food Markets Incorporated to bring Ritzman Health and Personal Care Stores to all 13 of its pharmacy locations.
• 2013 - Ritzman Pharmacy acquired Mast Health and Personal Care Stores, taking on the day-to-day operations of all five of its pharmacy locations.
• 2019 - January 7, Ritzman Health and Personal Care Stores accounced it will sell all 20 of its retail stores to CVS, causing the closure of several area locations including those inside Buehler's stores.
