"The Danford Furniture Co. Monday purchased the stock of furniture and undertaking supplies owned by the late W. Y. Landis. The purchase was made from Mrs. Landis. The widow and her daughter have been in charge of the store since the death of the proprietor, but they did not care to carry on the business. Clark McIntire, of Danford's, will be temporally in charge of the Landis store. The goods is to be closed out at low prices. One of the reasons for purchasing the Landis stock is because the third floor of the Danford store is to be remolded and room is needed for storage purposes. After about 60 days the Danford Co. expect to close the Landis store."
