Paul and Nancy Gordon of North Canton are the new owners of the Village Dutchman Restaurant in Dalton. The Gordons purchased the restaurant October 1 from Dick and Edie Atkinson. Nancy has 14 years experience in the restaurant business, having worked for 14 years at Lindsey's Restaurant in Canton. She presently is an L.P.N. nurse, and also helps out at the Dutchman Restaurant occasionally. Paul worked 24 years at a factory in Canton before purchasing the restaurant. They have two children - a son, Paul Jr. 22, and a daughter, Kristen 15, who helps at the restaurant on Sundays. The Gordons plan to keep the same specials on the menu with some specialties added later. The Gordons have already met a lot of good people in town and look forward to meeting more. The Dutchman is open Monday through Saturday 6 am to 7 pm and Sundays 11 am to 3 pm.
