"The Mrs. A. Shibley Jewelry Store. One of the oldest and most reliable firms in the city of Wooster today is the Mrs. A. Shibley Jewelry Store, located on the Public Square.

This firm was established nearly 50 years ago by Louie Shibley and was later on purchased by his brother August Shibley. Since the death of August Shibley, six years ago, the business has been successfully managed by Mrs. Shibley, wife of the deceased August Shibley. Good goods, honest dealings and right prices has caused the people of Wayne county and the surrounding country to feel an assurance that they are perfectly save in trading with this firm. To please the customers has been the one aim throughout all these many years.

Mrs. Shibley carries a most complete line of Diamonds, Watches, Rings, Jewelry, Silverware, Clocks, Cut Glass, etc. The stock of Watches and Jewelry especially is to be commented upon, as it is the larges and most desireable line in this community.

Fine reparing has been one of the main branches of this firm. Their motto has been "Only the Finest Work" and it is to this kind of work they cater. The firm has made a specialty of fine watch repairing. The work is promptly done and satisfaction guaranteed.

The Optical Department is in the hands of Mr. G. A. Hudson, who has graduated from the Bradley Polytechnic Institute of Peroris, Ill.

Mr. Hudson is a competent optician, one who has advanced rapidly in his profession.

Not only older people are fitted here, but special attention is given to the fitting of children's eyes. Every care is taken in the fitting of these cases and glasses are not prescribed until the most satisfactory results are obtained. Should the eyes be diseased and need medical treatment, they will advise you to that effect and no charges will be made.

"Honesty is the best policy" and that is the motto of the Mrs. A. Shibley Jewelry Store."
