"School Reunion. Congress. Aug. 12. -- The classes of 1922, '23, '24 and '25 of Congress High School their families and friends, gathered at Fulton's Park for their third annual reunion were 33 present.

After a picnic dinner a short business meeting was held. Elwood Stine was re-elected president and Ruth Lucas, secretary and treasurer. It was decided to hold the reunion the second Sunday in August next year and at the same place.

The afternoon was spent in visiting and recalling scenes of high school days.

Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. John Barnard and daughters, and Dale Sparr of Congress, Miss Pauline Grable of Chester, Mr. and Mrs. John Johnson and family of Congress; Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Stine of Wooster; Mr. and Mrs. Russel Keener and children and Homer Sechmist of Pleasant Home, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Divenny of West Salem; Mr. and Mrs. Z. M. Lucas, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Alcorn, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Clouse and daughter of Lodi, and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Stauffer and son of Mansfield Pres., Elwood Stine, Sec., Ruth Lucas."
