".... The Young American Literary Society of Congress High School gave a successful entertainment at town hall Saturday evening. Music was furnished by the Independent orchestra.

The village was visited by a deluge of rain Friday evening and many cellars were flooded.

The intermediate and primary _______________ of Congress High School Will hold literary exercises at school all Friday evening.

The Congress basket baseball club has reorganized for the season of 1908. The officers are President J. A. Garver, Manager _____Simon field captain. C. S. Martin. The lineup will be practically the same as last year."
