"Congress Hires Its Teachers for 1938. CONGRESS, May 11 -- The following teachers are rehired at Congress by the board of education.
Congress High School Superintendent Clair Kirchhofer who was given a two year contract, Principal Robert Essick; Coach, Carl Martin; Music, Ruth Flint.
Congress Grades: Fifth and sixth, Guy Johnson, third and fourth, Ruby Lewis; first and second, Belle Barnard.
One new teacher was employed Miss Eileen Stout, a graduate of Wooster College in 1936 and now a student at Ken State University was employed as commercial and public speaking teacher. These are two new departments which are being introduced during the coming school year.
The vacancies of Home Economics and Vocational Agriculture will be filled later."
