"The Deco Tile Company recently received state approval of plans for the construction of a new office and replacement of a roof.

Plans call for the razing of the section of the old Dalton Pottery building fronting on East Main street and building a new office and storage area and replacing the roof of the same building. The offices will front on East Main St. at the location of the present office.

Deco Tile has rented the front portion of the Village Green Memorial Park building from the park board for temporary offices and will occupy it until the new building is completed. The part of the new building facing East Main St. will be of brick construction to match the new addition of the east building which was added 2 years ago."
