"Twelve members of the Senior class of the Congress High School, who were chaperoned by Mr. and Mrs. Earl Metz, returned Sunday from a trip to Washington, D. C., Gettysburg and other historical places. They had a moonlight excursion on the Potomac.

The class and their chaperones made the trip for approximately $7.30 each. The money was secured by holding a festival and giving a play. They left on Wednesday morning and took with them much of their food. They spent their nights in tourist camps. And prepared their own eats.

The members of the class received a very instructive and beneficial trip. Mr. and Mrs. Metz have taken other classes on the same trip and were therefore able to point out all interesting places."
