Hardware Men Here on Visit: Inspect Plant of Wooster Brush Co., Whose Products They Sell.
Yesterday afternoon two Buckeye Stage busses made the trip from Cleveland to Wooster, brining 65 hardware men, some accompanied by their wives, on a visit to the plant of the The Wooster Brush Company.
The visitors are members of the Eagle Hardware stores, an organization now including 95 stores which do co-operative advertising and whose owners are intending to pay visits to some of the more important manufacturing plants in northern Ohio that furnish through jobbers, the products these stores sell. Plants in Akron and Ashtabula have been previously visited.
In Wooster two hours were spent at the factory of the Wooster Brush Company where the hardware men expressed much interest in the many different processes of brush manufacture. Most of these men have sold brushes over the counter for many years, but had never seen the raw materials from which brushes are made or the methods used in their construction which they were enthusiastic in claiming as both instructive and interesting.
The visitors were entertained at dinner at Charlotte Inn, after which they returned to Cleveland.
