Library Interest Grows

The interest in the Wooster Public Library is increasing more every year. Some months more books are taken out than others, but the increase during the month of September 1911 over September 1910 shows that 200 more books have been taken out this year during that month than were taken out last year. There also an increase in the amount of reference work done in the Library, over what has been previously done. [unreadable] school opened this has especially been the case, since many of the students go to the Library for information.

More interest has been taken lately in the Reading room of the Library. The reading room is always well filled in the evenings by people who can go there to read the current literature.

Between 30 and 40 cards are given out every month to people who wish to draw books from the library regularly. If a book is not in the library when wanted a person may leave a penny with the librarian, and she will drop a card to them when the book is returned.
