Comprehensive History

Christ United Church of Christ located at 301 North Main Street, Orrville, was established 20 January 1869. Previous locations were North Mill Street and 314 North Main Street. The church was also known as the Christ United Church-Evangelical and Reformed. This church was established when St. Paul's German Reformed Church located 3 miles southwest of Orrville divided. Members living north of State Road (Lincoln Highway) formed this Orrville church. Members living south of State Road formed a church in Apple Creek.
