1. There is forwarded herewith a French diploma, No 109,957,

(E. U. No. 2439) pertaining to the award of the French Croix de
Guerre, with palm to you

under order No. 13.3916 “D” dated February 8, 1919,
General Headquarters, French Armies of the East.

2. It is requested that the enclosed receipt be accomplished

and returned to this office.
