Comprehensive History

Reformed Church of Marshallville was established in 1835. This German Reformed and Lutheran congregation erected a building in 1836. In 1874 the German Reformed members built a church of their own in, Marshallville. Sources found for this church were History of Wayne County, Ohio, Ben Douglas, 1878, page 710 and History of Wayne County, Ohio, B.F. Bowen & Co., 1910, Vol. 1, page 249.
