In 1884 the mill was entirely reconstructed to a complete roller mill, and in every department the beast know appliances, with ample steam power for operating the machinery, was introduced. The building is 120 X 40 feet in dimensions, and four stories in height, and has now a capacity of 300 barrels of choice flour per day. The principal brands produced are known as the "Amber" and "Gold Thread" which are sold in all sections. Both merchant work and exchange is transacted. The general operations of the Wooster Mills were conducted under the above firm name, but on January 1st, 1887, Mr. Frick retired, and the entire ownership and control devolved upon Mr. Overholt. Mr. Overholt is a native of Pennsylvania, and in July, 1862, he enlisted in the 15th Regt. Pa. Cavalry, serving until the close of the war, when he received an honorable discharge.
