William H. [[Harry (surname)|Harry]] was born in Wooster, Ohio on March 17, 1850 being one of four sons born to Jesse Harry (2/14/1816-3/25/1882) and Eliza A. [[Stair (surname)|(Stair)]] Harry, both born in [[York County, Pennsylvania]]. William H. Harry learned the photography business by working with Benjamin F. [[Baltzly (surname)|Baltzly]] for a number of years before venturing out on his own by leasing the [[Teeple Art Gallery]] in September of 1873 in [[Wooster, Ohio]]. After William  H. He conducts one of the leading photograph galleries of this city and county, well supplied with newest improved devices for the perfect mechanical execution of every description of photographic work in card, budoir, cabinet or panel sizes, and executes portraits in India ink, oil or water colors, enlarging old pictures and guaranteeing to his patrons first-class and highly finished work in all departments of the business. His reception room is finely fitted up and presents and attractive display of finely executed work, to an inspection of which visitors are invited. [1]
